Caravan Registration
A trailer caravan needs its own registration certificate and plates, like any trailer. The route depends on its documents: one for a new caravan with type approval, another for a used one from abroad, another for a caravan with no papers.

- Private owners who bought a caravan in Greece or abroad.
- Owners of an old caravan without a registration certificate.
- Caravan dealers and importers.
What we look at first
If the caravan has EU type approval and a certificate of conformity, registration is fairly simple. If not, or if documents are missing, registration is possible under conditions and involves an inspection. So we start from the documents you have and tell you from the outset which route applies.
Until the registration certificate and plates are issued, the caravan may not be driven on the road.
